DOOR 15 // DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION
DEC RAINBOW 100
This one matters too much to fake. Current MAME contains a Rainbow 100 driver, but there is no polished lightweight browser build comparable with the C64, TI or TRS-80 pages. Door 15 is therefore reserved as a real restoration project.
RESTORATION IN PROGRESS
The Rainbow combined an 8088 and Z80 and could boot MS-DOS, CP/M-86/80 or act as a terminal. The final Barefoot version will use a targeted MAME/WebAssembly build plus your own firmware and RX50 disk images.
Why it is worth doing properly
The Rainbow is not just another PC clone; it is one of the more unusual early personal computers and deserves a historically correct implementation rather than a cosmetic terminal.
